Both are built in cedar in our Aurora shop and installed by our crew. Cedar contains natural oils that help it resist rot and insects, and it can be stained or left to weather to a silver grey.

Frequently asked questions
What outdoor structures do you build?
We build pool cabanas and pool houses, gazebos, pavilions, pergolas, verandas and roof extensions, decks, outdoor bars and kitchens, garden sheds, backyard studios and detached garages. We also make cedar doors, windows and gates to match.
What wood do you use?
Cedar is our main material. It contains natural oils that help it resist rot and insects, and it can be stained or left to weather naturally. Some projects use engineered wood siding or stucco to match the house.
What is the difference between a standard and a custom structure?
A standard structure starts from a layout we have built before, and you choose the finishes and options. A custom structure is designed from scratch around your yard, your house and how you plan to use it.
Are the structures built on site?
We build the main parts in our Aurora shop, then bring them to your property and install them. Shop work is more accurate and keeps the time our crew spends in your yard short.
Do I need a permit for an outdoor structure?
It depends on the size, use and your town. In Toronto, accessory buildings over 10 m² need a building permit, and decks more than 60 cm above grade need one. We prepare the permit drawings and check the rules for your address.
Do you build outside Aurora?
Yes. We build across York Region, Toronto and the GTA, including Newmarket, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Markham, Mississauga and Oakville.
